A nursing home is where the highest level of care is provided to the older adults outside of a hospital. The care they provide is to help get the patients in and out of bed and assist them with bathing, dressing, and feeding. Of course, nursing homes vary from other housing facilities. There will be a licensed physician to take care of patients in the nursing home and a nurse along with other medical professionals will also be on duty 24/7 to assist the patients.Â
